Join Adam,
Tanner and Rutledge back for Season 2
of Top Gear USA as they are back for
more outrageous motor challenges and journeys across the USA. They compete against each other, the will
strive to prove who has the best, fastest cars... and can handle them in any
situations. From Supercars to junkyard
cars they are willing to race, modify and adapt any terrain nature or man has
to offer them.
Top Gear USA: Season 2 is hosted by 3 car (and other
powerful vehicles) fanatics who love test and race cars, on or off road to
prove not just who's cars are best or fastest, but what they can do. Tanner is a professional race care driver, Rutledge
is a car tech expert, and Adam is a New
York driver. Along with The Stig, the mysterious formula
driver, anything from half a million dollars cars, to trucks, to mini-vans, to
burnt out used cars they are willing to race, crush, and test the endurance of
any vehicle from an epic cross country race to a tests of strength, agility or
the skill of man and his car.
If you
love cars and to see them put to the test in any sort of situations then Top
Gear USA (not to be confused with the U.K. original we have reviewed many times
on this site) is what you have been missing. Asides from the fancy race cars and sports
cars (that can be worth more than a house), they share various car facts,
statistics, and what more can the average car do. Most of the time, they aren't afraid to total
or wreck the 'cheap cars' while the expensive ones they only race. In between the episode they show what they
call 'Big Star, Small Car' of
celebrities racing around the track. Perhaps what is most amusing is when they
modify the cars to try and do something they weren't designed to do. The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 picture
is a consistently good HD shoot, while the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound is
adequate. Extras include tons of deleted
challenges, extended scenes, behind the scenes, Top Gear USA down time, and car talks off the show.
