Sheila,
Lynn and Tommi run a small-but-successful pastry shop. While baking up sugar sweet goods they invent
new recipes to promote and find new customers.
Their love of sweets are only second to the one thing they lack... a man
in their lives, but when shop is threaten to close because of inspection codes,
can the three ladies cook a scheme out of this one?
Sugar
Mommas has these three middle age ladies on the lookout for a man to
be in their lives and when Lynn
starts dating a boy old enough to be her son, Sheila starts thinking she wants
to have a baby. Tommi is having trouble
in her relationship because she isn't having one to begin with but when the
inspector turns out to be the father of the man Lynn is seeing, Sheila see it
as a chance to save the shop and find a man at the same time. As they face these challenges, rivalries and
friendships are put to the test; can they have their cake and eat it too?
Sugar Mommas is a comical film of three
independent ladies cook up some spice in their love lives. While being over the hill, they feel like they
need to find a man before they are single forever... the comical relations between
the three are taken to new levels when one of them is accused of cradle
robbing, while the other is interested in the father... and when it comes to
love and war there are no rules. It is
remarkable they were not divorcees.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is softer than I would have liked, but
lossy Dolby Digital sound is decent. Extras include gallery, and music video.
