Judge John Deed is the one judge who isn't afraid
to fight for fairness and justice, that includes fighting corrupt officials and
their rules. Always above foolishness
and above reproach, his record for getting to the truth in court has made him a
legend among his peers and not to be underestimated by those who try to
undermine the law, but can John protect those he cares about when they begin to
receive death threats if he pushes cases too far? Is truth worth dying for?
In Season Four, Deed continues to
fight the good fight, but those in power seek to ridicule him, to force
him to quit or impeach him, with his evidence disappearing and his
witnesses ending up dead John might be next. John's cases are stripped away from
him and he is sent way to talk at seminars. Meanwhile, Jo gets a turn sitting in the
Judge's seat, but when her family is threatened, does she have the heart
and courage to continue court cases without John?
If you like law and the British court then this series is a must see. Through cross examination, deduction, clarity,
and a healthy passion for justice, the character Judge John
Deed faces cases that challenge and question the law, which are
controlled by the corrupt and ruling rich elite? Men may lie, people may be bribed, but justice
cannot and will not be bought while he is around.
