Get ready
for a fight that knows no rules, in the streets of Vietnam survival is whoever is the
last man standing. Phoenix's (Trinh) daughter is being held
hostage by the vicious Black Dragon mobster. The Black
Dragon demands her to steal a high tech laptop which has access codes
to a military satellite and he will release her daughter. She teams up with a rough and ready bunch,
their job might just get them killed, but with guide and strength of Tiger
(Quan) they might just be able to pull it off. Phoenix
finds herself tempted to be romantically involved with this
silent protector... but trusting someone can cause you your life, who is
Tiger and what does he really want? Is he friend ...or foe? Le Thanh Son’s Clash (2009) is that story.
A group of poor (but highly skilled) mercenaries have come together to steal
top secret laptop from French agents, but each one has their own motive, their
own reasons, but can money truly bind them together? While Phoenix
is willing to do anything to get her daughter back, the rest of her crew is
still looking out to line their own pockets, and if there is one less person in
the crew... they get a bigger share. Tiger
is secretly deep cover police agent, his true target is to bring the in Black
Dragon... Phoenix and Tiger must both work together to achieve their goals, but
can a female gangster mercenary and a secret police agent find a way to work
things out without killing one another, much less become romantically involved
with one another?
If you like drawn-out martial art fist fights, car chases, shoot outs then this
film has it all. It is like watching high octane fights of who can take the
most punishment and then still kick the other person's ass. In the gun fights, it seems everyone has the
accuracy of a stormtrooper (they can't hit the broad side of barn), after using
up all their bullets then cab they fight with their fists, which is a mix
of martial arts, aikido, Taekwondo, Muay Thai kick boxing, and wrestling. Extras include interviews with actors, anatomy
of fight scenes, cast of characters, music videos and trailers.
