David
Washington is a wealthy successful businessman. He has everything, money, fast cars, a large
house, and beautiful girlfriend... only thing is... whatever he owns, he
controls, including love, loyalty and relationships. Robin, David's girlfriend learns quickly about
her fiancé's darker side. She thought
she was could marry into big money, but even with all the trimmings and
trappings that came with a price, you either obeyed David or you were destroyed
by him. As time goes on David's
insecurities reaches dangerous levels, the littlest mistake could be mistaken
as infidelity, and that mistake could cost your life.
In N-Secure, we get a drama that
could have been a character study, but misses.
David was brought up in a military family, everything had it's place,
it's order, and that's how he liked it, but after catching his girlfriend Robin
cheating on him with his best friend, he breaks her off and sabotages any chance
for a relationship with her afterwards, including murder, a series of
'accidents' to ruin her and anyone who was connected to her. Afterwards David gets a new girlfriend, but
will she be able to mend his jaded heart or will she
become David's next victim?
This was your typical modern day drama, a story of a love gone wrong, the age
old tale of jealousy, and a tale of the darker side of human nature. The main character David is an alpha male
character type, a successful, rich, businessman because his abilities to
organize, control, run a tight schedule, and his zero tolerance for mistakes,
but his own mistake was he applied that philosophy to every aspect of his life.
Granted, his girlfriend DID cheat on
him, but only because she felt David was too controlling. If I has to sum up
what the morals of the movie were, 1) men, don't try control your girlfriends
and 2) women, don't cheat on your boyfriends. Extras include inside Behind the Scenes of N-Secure
featurette.
