A group
of high school teenagers find themselves shipwrecked and stuck on a deserted
island. Between the popular (jocks) and
unpopular (nerds) kids they must decide if they want to stay on the
island or find a way to get rescued, but when the leader of the popular group
'Rog' decides to it is better to remain on the island and to rule on high
forever, he forces others against their will, it is up to the nerds to save all
their hides.
What was a whale watching/booze drinking cruise turns into island survival for
a group of high school friends? The
nerds are trapped on an island with their tormentors and nemesis (the
jocks) 'Rog' and his peeps (whom somehow managed to save all the booze and
drugs) are faced with the prospect of being stuck on the island for a long
time. As the nerds try and pool their
resource to be rescued they jocks continue to party as if nothing was wrong...
as long as they have beer and can take whatever they want from the nerds.
This movie was like the Nerds meets The Goonies and them stuck on the show Survivor. A deserted island, nerds and jocks, raging
hormones, beer, sex and Mexican rock and roll ...you do the math. As the jocks begin to get all Lord of the Flies, the nerds realize
they must work together (with the jocks) if they ever want to get off the
island, but when the captain of the football team, 'Rog' realize
his reign of popularity will end once they get back to the mainland, he decides
that they should ALL stay forever, and thus he can remain large and
in-charge forever. Extras include
commentary with cast and writer/director, behind the scenes, deleted scenes,
short film, music video and trailer.
