Camera/Anchor Bay DVD)

Gord
Cooper just wanted to tape a happy Christmas with family when he brought home a
used $2,000 video camara from his shady neighbor, but unfortunately for him not everyone is
excited as he is... On top of that, the
various crazy family members are coming over for the holiday, including Gram Gram,
Pappy, a drunken perverted uncle, two sister in-laws, their families and Gord's
brother whom he hasn't seen in 15 years. It's crass, it's crazy, but hey~... it's family. This promises to be a video that no one will
forget (or want to remember for that matter).
This is a
Christmas story that has anything but the Christmas spirit. The wife and kids aren't happy, the worst
possible person shows up on Christmas day, and the worst possible secrets are
let out. It seems nothing makes holidays
get uglier than when money is short, but as the uncles get drunk, skeletons
soon come crawling out of the closets and old grudges start to surface... to
save the Coopers' Christmas it
better to be naughty than nice. It is
the best worst funny Christmas.
If you like comedy and holiday mischief then this DVD is up your alley. A dysfunctional family, with uncles that you
are glad you never had, and all the baggage that comes with them. It takes all the stereotype worst family
members and holiday traditions and tells the untold tale of the ties that can't
be cut. The show is like if you crossed
TV sitcoms "Married with
Children" with "The Simpsons" and it is an HD shoot with issues,
so that fits. Extras include audio
commentary with the director and the inspiration to Coopers' Christmas.
