It is
hard to believe, but somehow, Criss
Angel: Mindfreak has lasted four seasons and counting. Here is some of our previous coverage:

I liked
the show at first and thought it was interesting, but it just became a little
uneven as it went on and though he is a talented entertainer with some
interesting abilities to support his act, one can only do so much with “look
and see how I risk my life next to entertain you” before that wears a bit
thin. My fellow writer and I have said
about as much as we could on the shows now and if that does not help you figure
out whether you should get more involved, then just get the set(s) and decide
for yourself.
The 1.33
X 1 image analog color videotape shoot is consistently good and clean, though
it can be soft in places with flaws that occasionally include staircasing,
aliasing, some video noise, video banding and cross color. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo has some
location audio issues, but music and other items are added in post-production
as usual.
Extras
are the same on the first and third sets, while Season Two adds six featurettes and audio commentary by the star on
two episodes and Season Four adds Additional Footage and a Behind The Scenes featurette.
I wonder
how much longer this will go on. We’ll
soon find out.
