Scooby-Doo
and the Mystery Inc. Gang are back, on their greatest summer camp mystery yet. Fred gets a chance to be a camp counselor at
Camp Little Moose, hiking, fishing, swimming and telling scary ghost stories at
night around the campfire, but when each ghost story starts coming to life, the
Woodsman, the Fishman and the Banshee, something or someone is trying to scare
away the kids from coming to Little Moose and soon the camp may be forced to
close. The Mystery Gang isn't going to
be scared away so easily until they get to the bottom of the case in Scooby Doo! – Camp Scare,
the latest straight to video feature release.
Fred gets a chance to be a counselor where he was once went to when he was kid
himself, he excited to be a mentor and looks forward to teaching the next
generation of Little Moose campers. Meanwhile
Scooby and Shaggy is interested in how fast they can devour the camp's mess
hall, but over the years Camp Little Moose have been overshadowed by more
modern Camp Big Moose with it's air condition dorms, new gear, hot counselors,
internet... making Little Moose seem like more like dirt hole than a camp. Camp rivalry is suspected when equipment is
discovered missing, and spooks are trying to scare away the kids. It is up to the Mystery Gang to
save summer camp and bring back the kids.
I grew up on Scooby-Doo and it is always nostalgic to see old cartoons brought
back with new stories and latest animations. The series made for all ages and had tons of
guest characters over the years, as well as live action movies, merchandise
toys and games. Scooby-Doo is mainly
about a comical group of friends how they out smart various villains or thieves,
and solving the mystery.
More
often the characters Scooby and Shaggy gets chase around by one or various
spooks or monster(s) and they stumble on the clues in which help the gang to
later reason and explain how happened and what was the motive. Extras include various trailers of shows and
Scooby-Doo video game as well as a bonus episode of 'Beware the Beast from Blow'.
