Nickelodeon
has issued yet another competent Go
Diego Go! DVD, this time in Diego’s
Ultimate Rescue League which sounds like a Justice League send-up or take-off (especially from the cover art),
but is actually a team saving animals in another amusing outing for the
child-friendly character. Here is a link

There are
no extras either.
Then
there is the silly, boring series iCarly
which is aimed at young children, but is just too silly and boring for its own
good and achieves very little as far as this writer is concerned. The six shows here include the gang trying
top go to outer space (I’ll skip the obvious jokes), a beauty pageant show,
encounter with Bigfoot and more only for the most diehard fans. I will never be one of them.
The 1.33
X 1 image and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo are a mixed bag with the picture having
aliasing errors and the sound being goods at best. Extras include a bonus episode (eeeeee) and
trivia.
