second Madeline DVD we are looking at, Madeline’s
Great Adventures, is the first with episodes and that is more the norm for
the child-safe animated version of the franchise, which you can read about at

Madeline & The Forty Thieves
It is
amusing to put such an innocent, comical female character in classic
adventures, but the makers have done a good job here and it makes for a nice
follow-up to the first release. There is
more here to enjoy and I therefore consider it the better disc. The 1.33 X 1 image and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
are of the same quality as the first DVD, but there are no extras.
